Groesbeck Lions Club heard from Glenda Pruner from LMC’s Occupational Therapy program on Wed., July 15. She talked about the ways occupational therapy is different from physical therapy and how they teach the tasks or occupations we complete to help keep the whole person physically and mentally going. OT is used after an injury, or because of an order or condition that restricts or impedes ability to do everyday tasks. They focus on new ways to do tasks and working physically to restore the ability to do those tasks. God’s Word reminds us that we are to, “Pray constantly. Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thess. 5:17-18) Praying for everything means all that happens in a person’s life, yes even in the good the bad and the ugly, God has the answer we need.
