In the fall of 2023, Legend Christian Academy will open its doors to provide classical education for 30 students in grades K-6. The fledgling school’s Board of Directors held a meeting at Kosse Cowboy Church Tuesday, June 27 to provide information about the Academy’s vision, mission, and more to parents who may wish to apply for a spot for their child(ren).
Former Assistant Principal of H.O. Whitehurst Elementary Kristen Curry is stepping into the topmost leadership position on campus as Principal for the 2023-2024 school year. She is focused on building a strong foundation for Groesbeck ISD’s youngest students and the many years of learning ahead.

Due to this week being Vacation Bible School at Central Baptist Church, there will be no meal served at the center this week. The entire church building has been decorated and is being used for the school.
