Great get-together with friends on Thursday with a good meal and fellowship. Seventeen being Janice Bilbrey, Ann Brown, Lorene Stembridge, Elizabeth Neason, Earl Mask, Wayne Sharp, Ernie and Sherry Solis, Pam Harlan, Karen Bess, Roger and Sharon Watson, Sheryl Davis, Wilma Lee, Gay Ann McBride, Snuffy Bennett and myself. Seems Snuffy took a tumble off the porch at home and was bandaged up on one of his arms. Gotta be more careful Snuffy.

“This will be my last hurrah,” Jay said as he put the finishing touches on the show. “The fireworks are beautiful and this has really been a tradition for us. I’ve gotten a lot of feedback over the years about how much the kids and families are enjoying it and it’s just a lot of fun.”

Groesbeck Police Department’s National Night Out ’23 is rapidly approaching, and the whole community is invited.
