Pastor Steven Friskup of Muleshoe, Texas, spoke to a large crowd at Springfield Hall on Thursday night, October 8. He was accompanied by his wife, Robin Friskup. Jana Raymond of the Massey Foundation introduced Friskup and his wife to the audience.
Local couple donates to PD

A local couple shared their kind nature last week with a donation to the Groesbeck PD. Rodney and Nettie Willett decided to donate all their proceeds from their city-wide garage sale to the Groesbeck PD to aid in support of bullet-proof vests purchasing. They raised a total of $250. “We didn’t want to do this for the publicity but for the reminder that we all need to support our local police forces and how hard they work to protect us,” said Nettie Willett.
