Local couple donates to PD

A local couple shared their kind nature last week with a donation to the Groesbeck PD. Rodney and Nettie Willett decided to donate all their proceeds from their city-wide garage sale to the Groesbeck PD to aid in support of bullet-proof vests purchasing. They raised a total of $250. “We didn’t want to do this for the publicity but for the reminder that we all need to support our local police forces and how hard they work to protect us,” said Nettie Willett. Pictured is Nettie Willett with Groesbeck Police Chief Chris Henson on Thurs. October 8 presenting him the check for the donation.
