Overwhelmed with joy at Seniors Thursday, twenty-five seniors walked in the door. We had four new faces Jim and Colleen Longbotham from Groesbeck and Greg and Beccy North from Lake Limestone. So proud to welcome them to our center. Others were Janice Bilbrey, Ann Brown, Snuffy Bennett, Gayla Lind Gambini (congratulations on your recent marriage), Elizabeth Neason, Lorene Stembridge, Elle and Hank Staniszewski, Karen Bess, Pam Harlan, Jo Ann Archer, Bob and Lonah Walters (back from Lake Limestone), Wilma Lee, Earl Mask, Gay McBride, James Lenamond, Doris Lemley, Wayne Sharp, Michele Cochran of Teague and myself. Michele is with Reliant at Home, Area Advisor-Hospice. She comes to take our blood pressure and calls bingo games. We appreciate her very much. She also brings goodies for our bingo games.
A Streetman woman and a Centerville man are dead from injuries sustained in a head-on collision Monday afternoon.
