Keep in mind that no one seeks an encounter with God unless God is at work causing that person to seek after Him. Notice what the Bible says, “There is not one who understands, no one who seeks God.” (Romans 3:11) Jesus said, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him.” (John 6:44) The apostle Paul said, “It is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.” (Phil. 2:13)
The Electric Reliability Council of Texas urged Texans to cut back on power usage last week when an unusually large number of power plants shut down for unexpected repairs as temperatures soared. ERCOT officials announced Friday that Texans could resume normal levels of electricity use, however.
