As we approach Labor Day, the unofficial end of summer, consumers are looking to take advantage of the holiday. Some will look for the best Labor Day sales, while others will be taking vacations (or staycations) to have one last bit of summer fun.
On August 20th, members of American Legion Post 288 of Groesbeck place a Veteran’s grave marker for Autrey Gene Lenamond. Gene passed away in April, but due to Covid-19, the funeral home in Baytown was not able to place the marker. Gene is interred at Cobb Cemetery in Thornton. Limestone Medical Center Medical Records Department has received a new Fujitsu Image Scanner fi-7700. Medical Records staff scan documents for all inpatients, Emergency Room patients, Specialty Clinic patients, and Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab patients. In order to comply with electronic health record requirements, staff must scan these documents into the patient’s medical record as expediently as possible.

Fort Worth newlywed couple David and Kelley Keller found love in a roundabout way. They met 17 years ago when they were both working at a Fort Worth hospital, she an RN and he doing anesthesiology checks; and were truly just friends. They also attended the same church.
