Groesbeck Chamber directors met May 3, and discussed the direction of the chamber involving member incentives as well as the moving and allocation of monies for the upcoming 2nd Annual Groesbeck Heritage Festival on Saturday, May 28 at Old Fort Parker.
The Cynthia Ann Garden Club presented An Afternoon Tea Party as the theme of their Flower Show. The Flower Show committee was Nina Pool and Sue Leach. They did all the organizing and with the help of the hostesses got everything ready for the participating members to set up their booths. The judges for the event were Martha LeNoir, Shirley Richardson and Susan Dornak. And the winners were the following.

Beautiful Springfield Hall near Historic Old Fort Parker in Limestone County was the perfect setting for Jonathan Hardin Chapter’s Centennial Tea on Sunday, March 27, in honor of state regent Marcy Carter-Lovick. Lovick and chapter regent Nancy Brown McSwane, welcomed more than 60 Texas Daughters to celebrate Jonathan Hardin Chapter’s 100 anniversary.
