Groesbeck Study Club gives blankets to GHS honor grads

Members of the Groesbeck Study Club attended a special assembly at Groesbeck High School Thursday, May 19 in the school cafeteria to award the Honor Students with a GHS blanket embroidered with their names. The seventeen students who were honored scored a 4.5-grade point average or higher. The top ten graduating seniors were also honored by awarding them with a $1000 scholarship. The valedictorian was awarded a $2000 scholarship.
