Cedarville University student Noah Lehman of Groesbeck, majoring in Visual Communication Design, was named to the Dean’s Honor List for spring 2022.
Andrew Deluca, of Groesbeck, earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology, from LeTourneau University, in Longview. The university held spring 2022 commencement services recently for around 200 graduates who received bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
The Groesbeck Lions Club heard a very interesting program at its meeting last week at Mi Rancho Restaurant.
The 2021-2022 school year has been another banner year for the Groesbeck High School Band. Beginning in the fall, the band performed well at the Whitney Marching Festival, earning a spot in the finals performances. At the Region 8 UIL Marching Contest in October, the GHS Band earned First Division, superior ratings from each of the three judges. This qualified the band to compete in the Area D 3A Marching Contest.
The Hot Rods lined up at the Groesbeck City park for the 24th Annual Groesbeck Lions Club car show Saturday, June 11. In total 43 cars entered in 16 different categories.
