The Groesbeck High School Class of 2023 gathered together last week for a senior sunrise, a time when the senior class gathers at a central location to watch the sunrise together, bond as a class, and usher in their final year of high school.
Ongoing Mondays, 6-8 p.m. – First Baptist Church of Tehuacana still hosts a knitting/crocheting group in the fellowship hall, making prayer shawls or lap robes for people. Anyone wanting to learn to knit or crochet is invited. There is no cost, and the yarn is provided. For more information, contact Angela Bailey at 409-782-0229.
The Groesbeck Lions Club met at Mi Rancho Mexican Restaurant on Wednesday, September 7 for its weekly meeting.
Seven Groesbeck High School classes from the 1950s will be a combined class reunion on homecoming Saturday at the Groesbeck Convention Center. The reunion will follow the Groesbeck Ex- Students luncheon and program. The luncheon will begin around 11: 30 a. m.
