The Jonathan Hardin Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution met on Wednesday, September 14th at 10:30 AM at Gibbs Memorial Library in Mexia. This was the first meeting of the 2022-2023 year.
Ongoing TUESDAY NIGHTS - 6:00- 7:30 p.m. - The Kosse Lions Club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at the Kosse Cafe.
The Groesbeck Study Club had its reassembly social on Tuesday, September 21,2022 at the Groesbeck Woman’s Club at 6pm. The members were asked to bring children’s books to donate to the elementary schools.
The Cynthia Ann Garden Club had its reassembly social on Thursday, September 22 at the Groesbeck Woman’s Club at noon. Cecily Ball, president, welcomed everyone and Sue Leach gave the invocation.
Longtime Groesbeck high school tennis coach Jim Longbotham was approached to become the marshall at the 2021 Groesbeck homecoming parade, but due to previous commitments he was unable to accept the honor.
