The Groesbeck girls basketball team will enter the Christmas break with a 1-2 record in District 203A after splitting a pair of games last week.

The Groesbeck girls basketball team scored its first victory of the season with a 44-38 win over Rockdale at the Jarrell Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 10.
The Groesbeck boys basketball team won three of four games at the Riesel Tournament on Dec. 8-10 and raised its season record to 6-6 for the season.
For the first quarter in their District 20-3A opener, the Groesbeck Lady Goats stayed close to state-ranked Mexia.
