Groesbeck High School's Kadyn King and Johnae King secured a solid third-place finish in Mixed Doubles at the 3A State Tennis Championships held on Thursday, May 16, and Friday, May 17.
The Groesbeck Goats Tennis Team has clinched multiple berths in the State tournament following their stellar performance at the Region III 3A Tennis Tournament held in College Station on May 10-11.
The two-man team of Elbert and Michael Fenton took the top spot out of 78 teams in the 4th Annual “The Op Masters” catfish tournament held April 26-28 out of Shirley Creek on Sam Rayburn.
The annual Goat Bowl was held on Tuesday, April 30 at the Groesbeck High School field, where the upperclassmen battled it out for bragging rights.
Kary Essl of Crosby topped a field of more than 5,400 anglers to win the 40th Annual Sealy Outoors Big Bass Splash held April 19-21 on Sam Rayburn.
