God Said to his people, “I am now giving you the choice between life and death, between God’s blessing and God’s curse. (Deut. 30:19 GNB) Choose life in 2021.
It’s a new year, but the news out of the capital continues to focus on COVID-19.
Again, yours truly wishes everyone a very happy and successful 2021.
Have you ever wanted to quit everything? I knew a person who often said, “I feel like finding a hole, crawling in, and pulling it in after me!” Obviously, he was physically burned out. The Biblical book of 1 Kings 19 is about a prophet who suffered burn-out, ran away, and hid in a cave. God said to him, “Elijah, what are you doing here?” Elijah answered, “I have worked hard, but its just no use. Nobody but me cares about the church and your work.” God said, “Elijah you are not alone, there is more than 7,000 people who live and faithfully work for me.” (1 Kings 19:11-18)
