Daniel “Danny” Paul Alewine of Bryan, Texas went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2020, after a long, hard battle with cancer. He was born in Dallas, Texas on April 3, 1960, to Homer and Ann Alewine. Danny was a 1982 graduate of Abilene Christian University. He began his career at Farmer’s Co-op of El Campo, then Zeneca/Syngenta, and finally Loveland Products, where he worked for 17 years.
Mrs. Evelyn Altharee (Ree) Langford, 95, passed away Sunday evening, September 6, 2020, in Mexia after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Gary Lynn Ferguson, of Mexia, passed away on September 2, 2020, in Waco at the age of 64. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with David Bates and Pastor Jimmy Cotton officiating. Interment will follow in the LaSalle Cemetery. Dustin Ferguson, Brady Ferguson, Brandon Ferguson, T. J. Taylor, Larry Bates, Garrett Ferguson, and Dawson Ferguson will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Vest, Chad Jarrell, Jeramy Stone, Jason Stone, Jared Stone, and Michael Raines.
