The Sew Thankful sewing group at First Methodist Church Groesbeck has wrapped up a year-long project, crafting 35 quilts for residents of Groesbeck LTC Nursing and Rehab. The handmade quilts will be delivered to LTC before Christmas, offering warmth and comfort during the holiday season.
Three businesses in Thornton fell victim to a string of burglaries early Wednesday morning, Dec. 30, 1936.
