Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Marc Waller narrowly avoided a head-on collision recently when an alleged drunk driver came barreling toward Waller in the wrong lane.

We have continued with exercise, bingo, and dominoes We would like more people to join us in low-impact exercise at 9 a.m. and stay for Bingo at 10:30 a.m., then of course eat lunch with us at non, Tuesdays and Fridays. Robin York was the big winner on Tuesday and Dorthy McFerran was our winner on Friday. Volunteer Ruth Schwille called bingo Tuesday and Kim Nichols of Groesbeck LTC called Bingo Friday. Ami Wietzikoski of Texas Home Health was with us Friday to do blood pressure checks and will continue the BPC every Friday at 10 a.m. This is open to everyone. The Domino players didn’t play this week due to the weather. They meet both days at 12:30 p.m. Thanks to Pat Ogden for mini cheese cakes and Eva Thornal for the cookies, and I brought Valentine’s candy. Next month’s movie will be 10 a.m. to be decided.
