The Groesbeck Study Club had its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the Groesbeck Woman’s Club at 6 p.m. Janice welcomed everyone and Jeri Penny gave our devotional. She told us that chaos and evil are everywhere. There is immorality and bullying and evil in every form in our daily lives from the youngest to the oldest. The question that we need to ask God is… “Lord, how do we change things?” Jeri told us “Don’t let the enormity of the problem stop us. Find the small truths with dogged determination and faith in God we need to follow His Word. Let Him speak to us and through us. She suggested we read 1 John 1:6 and Romans 12:21 and 1 Corinthians 13:13 She recommended to us that we love the sinner. We need to separate ourselves and others from the sin. Find the good. Use patience, grace, and mercy. Be Encouraged. Thank you, Jeri for this uplifting word.
