A Groesbeck man was arrested the week of Christmas and is currently in Limestone County Jail after an ongoing investigation by the Groesbeck Police Department.
A tragic collision on Saturday, Jan. 6 resulted in the death of Madelyn Gilmore, a 23-year-old resident of Monroe, Michigan. The incident occurred at approximately 9:47 a.m.
A devastating fire broke out on Thursday around 3 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Angeline Street in Groesbeck, causing the loss of two residences. The Groesbeck Police Department reported that the 1000 block of West Angeline remained closed to thru traffic as fire crews continued working the scene, around 5 p.m.
A major fire has broken out in the 1000 block of West Angeline Street in Groesbeck. One structure is fully engulfed with threats to other structures in the area.
