The bricks used in the streets of downtown Groesbeck were not made at the brick plant in town but by the brick-making town of Thurber, William Reagan, Limestone County Historical Commission President, divulged.
Every Monday – The Beer Joint hosts a Pool Tournament at 4864 TX-14 in Thorton. Players meet at 7:30 p.m., and the game starts at 8 p.m. – $10 buy-in.

Robertson Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will meet at First Methodist Church downtown campus at 1300 Austin Avenue. – Member Lisa Stewart will present information on the National Historic Trail of “El Camino Real de los Tejas” and other trails used by Anglo immigration to Texas. – The meeting is free and open to the public.
