The Groesbeck Study Club had its regularly scheduled meeting at the GHS Culinary Arts Building (the previous Enge Washington Junior High Cafeteria) on Tuesday, February 21 at 6 p.m. Garden Club President opened the meeting and Suzie Waller gave the devotional entitled “Choose Love”. She asked why so many of us “choose” to fear in our lives She said…Fear is a choice. Why do we do that? She asked, “Do we let fear into our hearts because we try to resist it by ourselves instead of choosing to use God’s power”? Remember, God’s perfect love casts out fear, which happens when we truly believe God loves us just as we are. We need to choose Him just as He chooses us.
The Cynthia Ann Garden Club had its February meeting on Thursday, February 23 at the Groesbeck Woman’s Club at 1 p.m. The president opened the meeting, read the Garden Club Creed and then had roll call and introduced guests.
Limestone County Master Gardeners announced their partnership with The Massey Foundation to create a half-acre garden known as Inspiration Gardens.
