Senior Center gets donation from Citizens State Bank

The Rehabilitation Department at Limestone Medical Center is very appreciative of the new equipment that was recently purchased. The Occupational Therapy team has added a Hydraulic UBE Table that is custommade to fit the tabletop ergometer making upper body exercises achievable. Easy-Lift with one-touch operation, the hydraulic assistance allows simple height adjustments from 27 to 37 inches making this table wheelchair accessible. This feature accommodates both seated and standing upper body exercises during occupational therapy treatments. The hydraulic table can be used with other tabletop ergometers that are comparable with the dimensions of the table. The hydraulic table is secure during the most strenuous workouts with four locking brackets, a commercial caster system, and non-skid floor plates.

American Legion Post 288 sponsored coffee and donuts at the Senior Center in Groesbeck on May 11 and had a pretty good turnout. The next one will be on June 8 at 9:00 a.m., location to be announced.
