Coming off its first loss of the season, the Groesbeck football team will tackle a similar opponent this week against Crockett for a 7:30 p.m. game.
The following GHS Seniors have been nominated as the 2023 Groesbeck Homecoming Court and escorts; Wesley Bush, Winni Lin, Sa’Riyah Smith, Chris Cox, Rainy Samuels, Brandon Gonzalez, Janae Trojacek, Ryder Bagley, Emma Baize, Damian Mclean, Charley Agnew, Ethan Walker, Grace Roman and Ethan Cummings. The homecoming queen will be crowned at halftime on Friday night
Groesbeck’s Ashburn Hanna American Legion Post 288 hosted a suicide prevention seminar on Saturday, Sept. 9. The legion teamed up with local organizations to spread information and awareness to help prevent suicide.
Living Proof Church held a special 9/11 ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 10 in remembrance of the 22nd anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Centers and also honored the first responders in Groesbeck and Limestone County.
A group of Groesbeck football dads have been getting together on Saturdays to cook and feed the Goat varsity football team and coaches after they watch the previous night’s game film.
