Limestone County Students entering 4th through 8th grades are welcome to attend Vacation Liberty School August 3rd through 5th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. at the Mary Helen Nance Community Center, 301 E. 8th Street in Thornton.

Senior Center gives thanks for ramp replacement

The Senior Center thanks Mario Gavan (M&G Construction) for replacing the ramp at the senior center. He donated his time and labor to tear out the old one, stabilize it better and replace the boards. The Board of Directors and all of our seniors really appreciate his generosity. Woodson’s was generous enough to donate the lumber to replace the ramp. Without their help, the center would not have been able to have such a nice ramp for our senior citizens. The Board of Directors, seniors citizens director Glenda ONeal appreciate Woodson’s generous action in helping our seniors out. Contributed photo.
