The 4th annual blessing bags was a great success. The community and local businesses gathered household items for 70 homebound seniors of Limestone county. The community was asked to donate non-perishable foods and house household goods for the residents.

Ongoing Mondays, 6-8 p.m. – First Baptist Church of Tehuacana still hosts a knitting/crocheting group in the fellowship hall, making prayer shawls or lap robes for people. Anyone wanting to learn to knit or crochet is invited. There is no cost, and the yarn is provided. For more information, contact Angela Bailey at 409-782-0229.
Training for New Master Wellness Volunteer Program begins in January.
The Groesbeck High School Art Club was out and about painting the windows of our town for the holiday season last week. Many different downtown businesses opted to join in the holiday fun and allow our art club to show their talents in a very public way while spreading cheer in our community.
