Our numbers were down quite a bit this week but expect them to start getting back to normal soon. We had Michele Cochran from Reliant at Home Health Caregivers back with us for lunch and to call bingo. We do so appreciate her coming and keeping a check on our blood pressure. She’s such a delight to all. The others in attendance were Janice Bilbrey, site manager, Ann Brown, Wilma Lee, Sammy Cooper, Hank and Elle Staniszewski, Elizabeth Neason, Sheryl Davis, Lorene Stembridge, Wayne Sharp, Alma McCurry, Ann McBride and myself.

Figueroa springs into action as GISD Superintendent

The Groesbeck Independent School District checks all the boxes for new Superintendent Anthony Figueroa, and he is looking forward to being a part of not only the school district but the community as well. His time as a district leader in smaller schools, paired with experience serving on a school board, city council, economic development board, chamber of commerce and service-oriented organizations like Kiwanis, has taught him that community is key.
