Community Conversations on Health began in Limestone County after being identified as one of 24 Texas counties with health disparities, said Dr. Stephen Pont, medical director for Center for Public Health Policy and Practice.

The Texas Water Development Board selected Bistone Municipal Water Supply District to participate in the Asset Management Program for Small Systems to help utilities create asset management plans.

Finally got a few more coming back to the center for lunch, visitation and games. Those present last Thursday were Janice Bilbrey, site manager; Ann Brown, Elizabeth Neason, Snuffy Bennett, Wilma Lee, Alma McCurry, Gay Ann McBride, Sue and Woody Wood, Michele Cochran from Reliant Home Health, Sammy Cooper, Doris Lemley, James Lenamond, Wayne Sharp, Earl Mask, Roger and Sharon Watson and myself. Was so nice to have Sue and Woody from Friendswood visiting back with us. They were “house-sitting”at Lorene Stembridge’s home on Lake Limestone while she was off on a cruise. I hope they will continue to visit often.
