Commissioners consider action on Old Fort Parker

With almost 30 years of experience in the field of aircrafts and airports, Chris Savage makes a presentation Tuesday, March 28, to the Limestone County commissioners in hopes of taking over the vacant management position at the county airport. However, he and Judge Richard Duncan will need to iron out lease agreement details before moving forward.

The Limestone County Commissioners Court discuss Old Fort Parker, the county airport, honoring the late Trooper Chad Walker and more at their meeting Tuesday, March 28.

During the Tuesday, March 28 meeting, Limestone County Commissioners welcome the new Ag and Natural Resource agent, Sara Peters, who will begin work July 1 through the Agrilife Extension Office.
