Taylor Leigh Ann
Taylor Leigh Ann Atkins was born in Waco, Texas on August 21, 1995 and departed from her earthly life unexpectedly on Friday, March 6, 2020, and is now in the arms of Jesus.
A celebration of Taylor’s life was held on Monday, March 9, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Michael Heuermann officiating. Burial followed at Cobb Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Drew Rhodes, Chris Henderson, Brandon Little, Josh Coffin, John Liscano and Andy Little.
She was a beloved daughter to Pete and Michele Coffin of Groesbeck. The relationship she had with her brother, Drew was like no other. She was a wonderful big sister that always had his back. Taylor was dearly loved by her Nana and Papa Little and Grandma Jarvis along with her aunts and uncles, niece, cousins and friends. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. Taylor was the most compassionate person who loved spending time with her family, friends and her fur babies Star, Boots and Pepper. When you think of Taylor, celebrate the good memories you have and remember life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
Taylor attended school in Groesbeck until 2008 when she and her family moved to Livingston where she graduated in 2013. She eventually moved back to Groesbeck in 2016.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandfather, John E. Jarvis of Groesbeck; Bonnie and Tom Atkins of Lake Limestone and Grandfather Rex Henderson of Thornton.
She is survived by her parents, Pete and Michele Coffin of Groesbeck; brothers, Drew Rhodes of Groesbeck and Josh Coffin and wife Kaitlyn and niece Olivia of Huntsville; sister, Amanda Coffin of Virginia; grandparents, Mike and Deborah Little of Groesbeck; great-grandmother, Shirley Jarvis of Groesbeck; uncle, Chris Henderson and wife Kristy of Thornton; uncle Brandon Little and wife Meredith of Robinson; great-aunt, Kathy Sillavan of Montgomery; great-uncle, John Jarvis and wife Linda of Fairfield; great-aunts, Tammy Bourgeois of Kosse and Gail Hill of Groesbeck; great-uncle, Tommy Little of Groesbeck. She is also survived by a host of cousins and friends.
