The Kosse Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and the Kosse City Council have announced the cancellation of their scheduled meetings for January. Both organizations will take a break this month and are set to resume their regular meetings in February.
The Kosse City Council was prepared to continue their discussion with local property owner George Rasco at the regular meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 17, having given him an additional month to decide a game plan for his derelict property at 103 S. Narcissus.
Kosse Cares is collecting donations for holiday care packages to send to active military personnel.
Kosse City Council spent a majority of their meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 12 in public hearing, granting the owner of 103 S. Narcissus, George Rasco, the opportunity to present his plans to repair or demolish the structure that is out of compliance with city ordinances on property.
The annual Kosse Community Thanksgiving Dinner is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Kosse Community Center.
