The Groesbeck varsity tennis team continued their Central Texas tradition as a tennis powerhouse with an impressive run at the UIL Regional Championships in College Station on Monday and Tuesday, bringing home first place medals in both boys and girls doubles.
FAIRFIELD — A handful of Groesbeck athletes earned the chance to compete in the Districts 19/20-3A area track and field meet, which was scheduled for Wednesday, April 19 at Fairfield High School.
Fishing tournament results can be pretty reliable indicators as to how well the fish are biting from one week to the next. The most favorable results are those where solid weights carry down the line rather stacked two or three deep, right at the top.
Several Texans placed among the top finishers in the MLF Toyota Series Southwestern Division bass tournament held in early April on Lake Dardanelle in Russellville, Arkansas.
