The Groesbeck Lady Goats picked up their first win of the season, closing out the Thorndale Holiday Basketball Tournament with a 43-38 victory over the Hearne Lady Eagles.
The Groesbeck Goats were busy over the Christmas/New Year’s break and Santa was good to them as they won three of four games at the Rosebud-Lott Tournament.

More accolades were bestowed upon Groesbeck athletes as the Texas High School Coaches Association recently released their selections for the Academic All-State team.
The results have been tallied and in the books as the final games of the 2017 high school football season were played over the last week at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
