Lady Goats remain undefeated

The Groesbeck Lady Goat volleyball team came into this week, which will be its biggest challenge to date, with its eighth straight win, this one over the Rosebud-Lott Cougars Fri., Aug. 28 in Groesbeck. The Lady Goats laid it on their visitors 25-10, 25-6 and 25-9. They kept their streak alive of not losing a set this season with 24 total sets won in the books. That record is expected to be challenged strongly this week as the Lady Goats hosted Class 2A’s #2 team, Leon, and are on the road to play the #1 Crawford Pirates tomorrow at 4:30.
