The Lions traveled to Madisonville on Friday night to take on the Mustangs who compete in Class 4A. Penalties throughout the night cost both teams yardage, but a pile of penalties just proved to be too much for the Lions as they lost 24-7.
Fairfield’s two-week absence from the field left Eagle faithful hungry for the team’s first victory of 2020.
