The Groesbeck Goats defeated Fairfield 8-4 and fell to Franklin 1-0 this past week. The Goats move to 17-12 on the season and 9-4 in district play. The Goats have clinched a playoff spot this year.
The Lady Goats will be taking on the Rogers Lady Eagles in a Bi-District Championship series this weekend.
Five Goats are headed to the Regional Track Meet at Waco Midway High School on Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24, after advancing from the Area Track Meet at Crockett High School last week. Kallen Rogers, Cazian Bradley, Tyson Pringle, Chris Cox, and Kache Bagley will compete at the Regional meet this weekend.
Groesbeck fell to Elkhart and defeated Crockett and Buffalo to go 2-1 this past week. The Goats move to 16- 11 overall and have an 8-3 district record.
The Lady Goats suffered a one-run loss to Elkhart 4-3 and knocked off Crockett 25-0 and Buffalo 15-0 this past week. Groesbeck moves to 18-8 on the season and 10-3 in district play.
