Well, the COVID-19 restrictions are still upon us. Texas Governor Abbott has announced the easing of some restrictions in the near future. However, it is understood that social distancing will remain in order for the immediate future.
“One of my favorite pieces of art hangs in the Keble College chapel in Oxford, England. The painting , ‘The Light of the World’ by English artist William Holman Hunt, shows Jesus holding a lantern in his hand and knocking on a door to a home.
Of course, the big news is the coronavirus (COVID-19). While Texas Governor Abbott has announced the easing of restrictions due to the virus; social distancing still remains in order. Folks are still urged to stay at home as much as possible.
The writer of Ecclesiastes said, “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.” He said, “There was a time to be born, to die, to plant, to kill, to heal, to weep, to laugh, to keep, to throw away, to love, to hate, to make war and a time for peace,” reads Eccles. 3:1-9. However, I wonder if he ever noticed that each of those things demand time from people. Many people ask, “Where can I find the time to love when I don’t have time to get in a good fight?”
