December 8, 2020

6:44 a.m. Officer Cardenas to 700 block West Angeline for reported harassment. The complainant reported receiving harassing phone calls from an unknown suspect.

10:50 a.m. Chief Henson to SH 14 North for requested agency assistance. The United States Marshals Service requested a traffic stop on a wanted person. Stop initiated and the suspect fled. Pursuit continued to Lake Mexia area where the suspect was taken into custody and placed in jail.

4:15 p.m. Officer Cardenas to undisclosed address for reported welfare concern. Subject of welfare concern found to have returned home to another city. Referred to proper agency.

8:50 p.m. Cpl. Hobbs to 1200 block Joel for reported suspicious activity. The complainant reported an unknown person knocking on the door. Unable to locate anyone in the area.

December 9, 2020

8:08 a.m. Officer Cardenas to 900 block West Angeline for reported civil issue. The complainant reported issues with child custody arrangements.

4:02 p.m. Officer Cardenas to 900 block West Angeline for reported burglary motor vehicle. The complainant reported an unknown suspect entering and removing money from the vehicle. Interviewed neighborhood juvenile who admitted to burglarizing the vehicle. Money recovered and returned to the victim. Investigation to continue.

8:55 p.m. Cpl. Hobbs to 600 block Parkside Drive for reported minor crash.

December 10, 2020

7:26 a.m. Sgt. Bell to 1300 block North Ellis for a reported suspicious vehicle. The complainant reported an unfamiliar vehicle parked on property. Owner identified and located.

5:38 p.m. Officer Martin to 600 block East Yeagua for reported welfare concern. The complainant reported a person who appeared to be passed out in a vehicle. Located reported person. Investigation revealed a person in possession of marijuana. Cited and released to the second party.

5:59 p.m. Sgt. Bell to North Archer for reported suspicious person. The complainant reported an unfamiliar person walking on property. Reported person left prior to officer arrival.

December 11, 2020

3:22 a.m. Officer Pantalici observed a vehicle parked with the door open in the 300 block South Ellis. Observed person in the vehicle who appeared to be passed out. Initiated contact and found the person to be in possession of methamphetamine. Taken into custody and placed in jail.

6:02 a.m. Sgt. Bell to 400 block South Ellis for reported suspicious activity. The complainant reported a person on property behaving strangely. Person located, identified, and given courtesy ride back to their residence.

8:08 a.m. Sgt. Bell to 100 block Frost Creek for reported debit card abuse. The complainant reported unauthorized transactions on credit/debit card. Investigation initiated.

2:03 p.m. Sgt. Bell and Chief Henson to 300 block Church Street for reported disturbance. Determined to be an assault that occurred at a different location. Investigation initiated.

7:35 p.m. Officer Martin to 500 block East Navasota Street for a reported welfare concern. The complainant reported being unable to contact a family member. Resident located and determined to have medical issues. Complainant notified.

9:56 p.m. Officer Martin to 500 block East Yeagua for a reported civil issue. The complainant requested officer presence during child custody exchange.

10:15 p.m. Officer Pantalici to 400 block West Trinity for reported suspicious activity. The complainant reported hearing noises under residence. Residence checked and found to be secure. Unable to locate noise.

December 12, 2020

10:17 a.m. Officer Cardenas to 900 block North Tyus for reported found property. The complainant reported finding a wallet. Property recovered and attempted to locate the owner.

6:45 p.m. Officer Martin to 600 block Washington for a reported civil issue. The complainant reported being unable to recover loaned money from the second party.

3:31 p.m. Officer Cardenas to 1200 block East Yeagua for reported criminal mischief. The complainant reported damage to the door caused by a known suspect. Investigation initiated.

6:40 p.m. Cpl. Hobbs to 200 block North Ellis for reported identity theft. Call was unfounded.

10:35 p.m. Cpl. Hobbs to 1200 block East Yeagua for reported civil issue. Complainant requested officer presence while former significant other retrieved property.
