Kelly Brooke Strang

Kelly Brooke Strang, 22, of Crosby, Texas gained her wings on Feb. 12, 2025 with her adoring parents at her side.
Born on Feb. 1, 2003, in Houston, a life-long resident of Crosby, Kelly graduated from Crosby High School, class of 2021. She loved to fish and had a pole in hand every chance she could. She had a deep love for music, often singing along to her favorite songs. She found joy in cooking and experimenting with new recipes. She enjoyed family game nights, especially Yahtzee! Kelly had a passion for all things pink and sparkly, loved her Cowgirl boots and beautiful bows!
Kelly's bright and beautiful smile could light up any room. From the very beginning, she was a fighter—a “mira-kel” who touched the lives of everyone she met. She had an innate ability to make others feel special, always offering kindness, a smile, or a thoughtful word regardless of how she was feeling.
She is survived by her parents, Jeremy and Tara Strang; her sister, Laney Strang; her loving boyfriend, Nathan Salinas, her grandparents, Steve and Debbie Moore, Danny and Ann Strang, Bonnie Strang and honorary nana Edna Kennedy, as well as her aunts and uncles Jared and Jill Moore and Justin and Katie Hargraves. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, friends, and extended family members who cherished her deeply. Kelly is preceded in death by her great-grandparents Willie and June Moore, John and Jackie Johnson, Dave and Bertha Strang & Jerry and Jorene Wells.
A celebration of Kelly's life will be held on Feb. 20, at Rosewood Funeral Home in Atascocita, Texas (17404 West Lake Houston Pkwy), beginning at 10 a.m. Kelly's final resting place will be at Big Hill Cemetery, Groesbeck, TX.
