Judy was born October 10th, 1944, to Grady Ellis Lenamond and Mell Dean (Herod) in Baytown, TX. She married the love of her life, Jack “Jacky” Telford on October 6, 1961, in Liberty, TX. (They married again in 1984.) They made their home on the family’s farm for several years there. She was known as the “Queen of the Oil Field”.

Jack and Judy loved going to Colorado. She was a vital part of the Wilderness Medicine Institute in Pitkin, CO for two years.
Judy had a tough exterior but a heart of pure gold. She also had a special knack for helping people find the best doctors for their ailments, and earned the title, “Dr. Judy”.
