Jason Hardy Browder
Jason Hardy Browder, of Groesbeck, passed away at Providence Hospital on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at age 58.
His family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
Jason was born in Groesbeck on January 14, 1962 to Tommy and Bettie LaFoy Browder. He graduated from Groesbeck High School in 1980.
Jason spent his life in Groesbeck and had worked for Dugan Trailer in the past, working with local masons and worked at the power plant during its construction.
He loved collecting arrowheads locally. Jason will always be loved for being protective of his sister and the younger ones in the family. He loved all his family, including his nine great nieces, nephews and cousins; and enjoyed seeing their pictures and hearing any stories about them and their activities.
Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents G.C. and Lillie Grace LaFoy; paternal grandparents Weldon Hardy and Opal (Holder) Browder; numerous aunts and uncles; and his father Tommy Browder.
He is survived by his mother, Bettie LaFoy Browder of Groesbeck; sister and brotherin-law, Jackie and Cody Darby of Forest Glade; nephew Logan Elliott Telford of Roanoke, VA; niece, Ariel Brooke Willis and husband Jeremy of Forney; niece, Chelsea Grace Hudson and husband Jubal of Canyon; niece, Victoria Faith Telford of Hewitt; nephew, Wesley Holder Smith of Forest Glade; nephew, Jorden Levi Darby and Jordan Current of Round Rock; nephew, Levin Wayne Darby of Mexia; niece, Lacey Elaine Darby of Mexia; nine great nieces and nephews: Jagger Payte, River Hays, and Hazel Grace Willis of Forney; Emma Lynn, Evelyn Rose and Eliza Jane Telford of Roanoke, VA; Salem Elliott and Shepherd Stone Hudson of Canyon; and Elena Bliss Darby of Round Rock; uncle, William Holder Browder of Waco; aunts, Ivonne Black of Marble Falls and Grace Marie Weaver of Round Rock, and many loving cousins.
