Daniel Wietzikoski
Daniel Wietzikoski of Thornton passed away at Providence Hospice in Waco, Sunday, June 23, at age 74.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 19th at his home 200 14th St., Thornton (corner of 14th & Marshall) at 12 noon.
Daniel was born to Marion and Mary Wietzikoski on November 4, 1944 in Marlin. He grew up in Marlin and was a 1963 graduate of Marlin High School.
Daniel married Carole Archer April 5, 1964 and had 3 children, Anthony, Richard and Larisa.
He was the Milk Man for 30 years driving for Pure Milk. After leaving there he went to work for US Silica where he drove a Modern truck from which he retired after several years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marion and Mary Kubiak Wietzikoski, his brother and sister-in-law Raymond and Barbara Wietzikoski, and brotherin-law Isidore Bienski.
He is survived by his sister Christine Bienski of Bryan and aunt Pauline Wietzikoski of Marlin, 3 children, Anthony and wife June Wietzikoski of Groesbeck, Richard and wife Teresa Wietzikoski of Georgia, Larisa and husband Jody Goodman of Groesbeck and step-daughters, Jessica and Jolene Crisp of Thornton. His 6 grandchildren, Eric and Ami Wietzikoski, Sara and Mark Coker, Corey Wietzikoski-Williams, Jasmine Wietzikoski-Williams, Michael Gilliam & Kylie Feeney and Jaedi Goodman. And 5 greatgrandchildren Ryan and Tripp Wietzikoski, Hatley, Emberlyn and Mace Coker. Nieces and nephews Tommy and wife Vicki Bienski of Bryan, Donnie Bienski of Bryan, Debbie and husband Felix Chester of Bryan, Kenneth and wife Karen Wietzikoski of Groesbeck and Mike and wife Ginger Wietzikoski of Groesbeck and a host of other great-nieces and nephews.
