Elizabeth Barron Stewart

On Jan. 20, 2025, at the age of 55, Elizabeth Barron Stewart passed away suddenly at home. Elizabeth was a smart, strong woman and very independent.
Elizabeth was born on Jan. 17, 1970, in Houston, to Larry and Barbara Barron Stewart. Elizabeth attended Klein High School in Houston through her Junior year before the family moved to Groesbeck. She was a Klein cheerleader, which she truly enjoyed. During her middle school years, she enjoyed volleyball and track. Elizabeth graduated from Groesbeck High School in 1988.
She attended Texas Tech for a year and was on the honor roll. She then transferred to Texas A&M, graduating in 1994, with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Elizabeth taught math for several years at Klein I.S.D. middle school. She later taught at a Mexia middle school for two years. Elizabeth later worked at Pharmacy Plus in Groesbeck, where she made a lot of friends and enjoyed helping people. 
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Barron Stewart and her grandparents, Cannon and Isabel Barron and Matt and Vera Stewart.
Survivors include her son, Cannon Stewart Myrick and her daughter, Rebecca Barron Myrick; her sister, Amanda Stewart and her father, Larry Stewart; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
