Chamber Awards S&S Machining and Fabrication Large Business of the Year 2023

S&S Machining and Fabrication was recently named Large Business of the Year 2023 by the Groesbeck Chamber of Commerce.
"When looking at business of the year nominations there is always a lot to consider. A business of the year should strive to provide excellent services or products to its customers, while also positively contributing to the community. S&S Machining and Fabrication has shown a level of commitment and dedication to our city and the people in it through the support of local events, charities, and maintaining a strong reputation within the industry," Jennifer Paul, executive director of the Groesbeck Chamber, said. "Ultimately, S&S Machining and Fabrication is a positive role model for other businesses in the area and a source of pride for the community and the chamber board was proud to award them with this business of the year award."
S&S Machining and Fabrication was founded in 1981 by the Sims family. Viraj (VJ) Gupta purchased it in February 2022 as he added another feather to his banner of 'SK Gupta Group of Companies.' 
Gupta’s vision was to expand the operation to encompass multiple disciplines, providing their customers with a world-class turnkey & JIT (JUST-IN-TIME) solution for their metal requirements. Their quest for world-class status is evident in the ISO 9001-2015 quality certification training and implementation. Their services currently include grinding and sourcing metal castings, forgings, and stampings from their valued partners across the nation and global alliance forging units. 
Additionally, they offer services such as foundries, heat-treating, painting/coating facilities, CNC & Manual production/prototype, heavy-duty machinery repair, fabrication and welding, in-the-field repair and fabrication, engineering design, and manufacturing.
Some industries they currently serve include Aerospace, Heavy Machinery, Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Locomotive, Power Generation, Water Works, and many more.
S&S is dedicated to becoming an integral part of the local community by actively supporting events like youth fairs and scholarship programs, rodeos, golf tournaments, and fundraising for charitable organizations. Every year they host a Community & Customer appreciation event, usually in April.

Their next goal is to work in conjunction with other local businesses to develop high-paying manufacturing jobs that will not only attract new families here but also provide existing families a reason to stay.
