Tina Renee Davey
Tina Renee Davey passed from this life to Glory, from her home, with her husband by her side, on Dec. 20, 2023, at age 54.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30, at the Living Waters Church (308 N. Leon St., Groesbeck.) Her husband, Nate, will officiate at the service, and burial will follow in the Cobb Cemetery.
Tina was born Sep. 12, 1969, to Bobby and Billie Lewis in Baytown. She grew up in Baytown, where she graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, and then received her Associate’s degree from Lee College. She surpassed her original plan to become a CPA for marriage.
Tina was united in marriage with her high school sweetheart, Nathan Davey, on Oct. 12, 1991, in Baytown. They moved to Fort Parker State Park and became parents with two bundles of joy. The family moved to Groesbeck in 2001 and lived there until 2014 when they moved to Dew to be nearer Nate’s job.
Tina was self-employed, working from home, as well as serving her family as a loving wife, mother, and “Gi-Gi”. She was a member of the Living Waters Church in Groesbeck, and she was Pastor Beth’s Armor Bearer, serving and assisting in any way she could.
Tina was a strong and independent lady. She was very talented with crafts and could make anything someone could think of. She could cook “out of this world.” She was warm and embracing to all. She was devoted to God and her family, as well as touching the lives of everyone she met.
Tina was preceded in death by her mother, Billie Lewis.
She is survived by her husband, Nate Davey; son and daughter-inlaw, James and Brooke Davey; daughter and sonin- law, Ashley and Oscar Floeder; grandson and granddaughter, Bennett and Blakely Davey and grandson, Daniel Floeder; and is also survived by her father, Bobby Lewis.
