City pool to open May 31
The City of Groesbeck announced last week that the city pool would be opening to the public beginning Wednesday, May 31, and will continue to be open during the season through Wednesday, August, 2.
The city pool is located inside the city park and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The pool is closed on Mondays.
The cost to enter the pool is $3 for ages 3 and up, 2 years and under are free. You may also buy a season pass for a flat cost of $45 for one or a family pass (4 people) for $150.
Adult water aerobics is offered every Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The first class will take place on Tuesday, June 6. The cost of the class is $3 per class or $10 for a week.
Children under 18 years of age are not allowed in the pool during the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. as that time is allotted for adult swim time daily.
Pool parties are available for a fee on Tuesday through Sunday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A 50 percent nonrefundable deposit is required for booking.
