CURRENT RESULTS OF NOV. 8 GEN. ELECTION
As of 8:30 p.m. Nov. 8, a total of 14 precincts out of the 22 in Limestone County have been tallied and 5,897 ballots counted, according to the Limestone County Elections Administration.
In the county, Gov. Greg Abbott (REP) has 4,711, 80.06%, and Beto O’Rourke (DEM) has 1,088, 18.49%.
The U.S. Representative for District 17 incumbent Pete Session (REP) has 4,757, 81.40% and Mary Jo Woods (DEM) has 1,087, 18.60%.
The District 5 State Senator candidate Charles Schwertner (REP) has 4,739, 85.65%, and Tommey Estes (LIB) has 794, 14.35%. The District 13, State Representative candidate Angelia Orr (REP) has 4,680, 80.91%, and Cedric Davis Sr. (DEM) has 1,106, 19.09%.
In the state, Abbott has 928,146 votes, 52.1% and O'Rourke has 833,630, 46.8%, according to the Texas Tribune. The U.S. Representative for District 17 candidate Sessions has 32,038, 67.3% and Woods has 15,601, 32.7%. The District 5 State Senator candidate Schwertner has 27,145, 71.2%, and Estes has 10,956, 28.8%.
