Aslone Foy maintains school board seat in May 1 election
Aslone Foy came out with the victory in the May 1 school board election for District 5 with 66 votes over his lone opponent Bryce Worsham.
Groesbeck ISD Board of Trustees election was held on May 1, 2021. The unofficial (until the board canvasses) election results are listed below:
For District 5, Groesbeck ISD School Board; Bryce Worsham had a total of 14 votes in early voting and 17 votes on election day for a total of 31 votes.
While Aslone Foy brought in 54 votes during early voting and 43 votes on election day for a total of 97, winning the election.
In the EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT #2 election, the response was a total of 82 voters for Prop 1 and 38 against. Ballot Prop 1 consisted of “The adoption of a local sales and use tax in Limestone County Emergency Services District#2 at the rate of two percent.” A total of 43 voted early in that election.
