Jeffery Glenn Beatty Lopez

Jeffery Glenn Beatty Lopez of Riesel passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 following an automobile accident.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 25, 2019 from 6-8 PM in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Faulkenberry Cemetery Pavilion with Pastor Brandon Cope officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jo Glenn Dick, Devin Johnson, Michael Hill, Christian Johnson, Ceasar Lopez, Joshua McKinney, Logan Koepf and Paris Williams. Honorary bearers are Jay Williams, Armando Lopez, John Lopez, Jr. and Andrew Prado.

Jeffery was born April 12, 2000 in Mexia to Amber Lopez. He attended Riesel schools and enjoyed working on cars and was talented at general automotive repairs. He enjoyed the outdoors as any young man does, fishing, working on small engines and tubing. As much as he liked tubing on the lake, he couldn’t wake board according to Uncle Joe.

He is preceded in death by his Uncle John “Boogie” Caldwell; cousin, Kaylee Dick; brother, Shelton Lane; grandfathers, Glenn Dick and Felix Lopez; aunt, Leslie Fortson and great-grandparents, Eddy and Theresa Dick.

Jeffery is survived by his mom and dad, Amber and John “Manny” Lopez of Riesel; brothers, Armando Lopez, John Lopez, Jr. and Ryley Worster; sister and brother-in-law, Morgan and Paris Williams; girlfriend, Stacy Horn and their unborn child; grandparents, Lisa Caldwell, Art Easley, Cathy Abel, Rosalinda Lopez; great-grandmother, Bonnie Kitchens; extended family to include, Jo Glenn and Sara Dick, Tara Caldwell, Michelle and Jay Williams, Tammy Galvan, Adam Lopez, Jessica Van Cooney, Sheryl Miller, Mark and Candyce Cina, Charlotte and Kelly Johnson, Laura Johnson and Janet Stone.
